The Desert Rose of Petra | Persian Agate & Synthetic Quartz Earrings

The name Petra comes from the Greek word for rock. Reddish-brown sandstone mountains, stone in many colors and twisting layers, spirals and wave-shaped curves, so that the old city of Petra looks like a desert rose blooming on the rock. It was a key stop on the Silk Road and an important hub for carrying spices. Home was a tent and the camel was the way to travel. What looks to us like burning heat and hardship was their steady way of life for hundreds of years. Even as each day repeats, it still feels like the first time. Inspired by Petra.

About the crystals. Every MenWen piece is built around natural stones, chosen for their color and character and set by hand in Taiwan. We treat crystals less as talismans and more as material for wearable art, so each piece is a small design object you can carry with you.

Materials. Persian Agate, Synthetic Quartz. Set in brass. Ear hooks are sterling silver with 18k gold plating.

Sizing. About 5.4cm including the hook. Measurements may vary slightly between batches.

Earrings are personal hygiene items. Unless faulty, they cannot be returned or exchanged once opened.

Shipping. Orders usually ship 1 to 3 days after purchase, excluding national holidays. During promotions, dispatch may take a little longer.
